Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Employee Relations Advisor for our client based in Walsall.

In summary, the Employee Relations Advisor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR support service, with a strong employee relations focus. You will handle a high volume of calls from front-line management colleagues seeking assistance with complex HR/Employee Relations enquiries. The Employee Relations Advisor will provide end-to-end case management in line with departmental policy and procedure.

The Employee Relations Advisor must have:

  • L5 CIPD Qualification
  • 2 Years Plus HR Experience
  • Excellent Communication
  • Ability to Prioritise and Multi-Task
  • PC Literacy

Duties of Employee Relations Advisor:

  • Provide advice, guidance and commercial solutions to management teams within specified business unit/regions on Employee management, employee relations and HR policy & procedure on matters such as absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, redundancy and re-structure, TUPE and contractual queries.
  • To produce accurate HR casework documentation to a high standard in line with the service level agreement. 
  • Manage case work in line with company policy/procedure and prevailing employment legislation to ensure risk is mitigated.
  • Work collaboratively with and in support of the wider Employee Relations team where necessary.
  • Promote the Company behaviours, values and ways of working.
  • Produce guidance documents and written correspondence where required in support of Employee management processes.
  • Provide Employee Management training and learning opportunities on specific key topics throughout the year, offering a tailored approach when required.
  • Attend Regional Meetings as required.
  • Complete ad hoc project work as directed by HR Manager and contribute to delivery of HR Employee plan and business objectives.
  • To record, update and maintain accurate HR systems and associated databases and records.
  • Production and continuous review of all employee relations processes and associated support documentation.
  • Identify development opportunities and provide appropriate solutions to raise capability.
  • In conjunction with the team, highlight any trends or inconsistencies to be used in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service

Hours of work for a Employee Relations Advisor:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30
  • 1 out of 7 weekends you will be required to cover the out of hours handset. You will be awarded TOIL for any out of hours work.

Pay Rate for a Employee Relations Advisor:

  • £27-30K, DOE
